Yes it depends where you live, my parents had the heating on nearly all year on the Lincolnshire coast. My last house in Essex was very warm in summer, did not usually have the heat on apart from November to February. This house which more open plan and cooler weather needs more heating, so more October to May. May last year was cold. Rarely gets over 25C here. Yup, absolutely. Plus old people feel the cold more. One thing about being warm-blooded, such as I am, and one of the reasons why I feel the heat so much [always have nice warm hands, etc], is that you rarely feel cold, except when it *REALLY IS* cold. In that respect, I can wear t-shirts almost all year round, in or out - and you'll only see me with a jacket on in the depths of winter!
