I have the integrated S8 which also uses the slightly scary 845 power tubes. It sounds beautiful. All UR Amps are beautifully designed and made and should last a lifetime. I’m tempted by these, but would have to part with the S8 to do so, which I’m loathe to do.
I’m seriously considering a Chord Hugo TT2 which has a preamp section so these would work.

Do what I always do, buy the thing you want to try and compare with your current one for a few weeks. Keep the one you prefer and sell the other one with little or no loss.
