    Hi everyone,

I’m Martin, thought I’d say hi.

Just starting on a hifi journey. I watched a YouTube video quite by accident a week ago and it lit a fire inside me.

I genuinely had no interest but happened across this Chanel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKN...eEftryRCvbmfNg

The passion of the guy was awesome and I ended up watching a video about fitting a cartridge to a record player.

The difference on the p1 with the carbon to the p1 with the mp110 was so stark I didn’t believe it was posible. I literally got family to listen to see if my ears were playing tricks. I’d never been connected to music like that before (and I’m in my 40’s) lol

From the uninitiated who didn’t care to me now desperate to have some decent kit.

I’m smiling as I write as I know how my head works and that I’ve opened a can of worms.

    First step on a journey.....

    So yeah, hi

    Hi Martin
Welcome to AOS. Let us know what equipment you are running. That's an interesting site about setting up everything turntable related.
    I am enjoying seeing it.

    Hello Martin. Welcome to AOS.

Well if you're just starting out in Hi-Fi, you're embarking on a journey that could take you anywhere!

The main thing is to enjoy it of course.......and maybe make a few similarly minded friends along the way.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    welcome to aos
ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down
