Anyone know anything about these TTs? My mate has asked me to have a look at one that he has just got out of storage after 30 years.
The platter does not spin and I suspect from what I have read that any lubricant in the bearings will have congealed and gone solid. There is power going to the motor, but I don't get any sound from the motor. I would have assumed that it might groan or get hot if it was trying to spin the platter?

think its an automatic belter, so will be a switch i guess to stop motor which i guess will be attached to something mechanical. might be that... adam beobloke will be best idea
