Wanted - CD player (Linn or other)
My Linn Karik is out of action, and I’m either looking for a semi-decent/cheapish player as a stop-gap until I get the Karik repaired or possibly a Linn replacement for my Linn system. Any offers (or indeed recommendations) considered - thanks.

A marantz CD52 SE Mk2 if you can find one, but if not a Marantz CD50, or a single disc Sony would be good as a spare player
should be a few of those around.

I've got a Marantz CD52 Mk2 (not SE) in excellent working condition, complete with the original remote control.
No original packaging, but I pack bombproof to prevent any damage when it gets dropped in transit.
Yours for £60 if that's of interest.

I have the CD6006 UK Edition, bought as an "open box" from Richer Sounds earlier this year for £250. Looks and sounds great imo, and I don't miss the £1200 Densen player it's replaced one bit

That’s interesting to know -I have the CD6006 UK Edition, bought as an "open box" from Richer Sounds earlier this year for £250. Looks and sounds great imo, and I don't miss the £1200 Densen player it's replaced one bitconsistent with the reviews I’ve read!
