After longer time
Hi everyone,
after a few years of occasional looking at AoS and other forums, I guess it is time to introduce myself.
I am over 50, not audiophile in sense to find the perfect audio system as after a lot of trials and errors I found there is not such a thing.
But I still like to listen to eclectic music just from any place of my room, yes, you are right, I hardly sit down in front of speakers last few years.
The sources are various, in reality, mostly I listen to background music during a day, music just before going to bed to fall asleep easier, and watching TV without connected HiFi is not an option.
Also I am starting to lean towards older amplification components, with tone controls, and there is not problem for me to sacrifice a bit of sound purity.
I think whole hifi is very subjective topic, so we can help each other with quite obvious limitations touching component choices, everyone will have to go through the selection process to find his satisfaction alone. But there are other things like music itself, technical problems solving and many more topics where community like this can help.
