    Default Vincent SV-237MK

For sale or swap the award winning Vincent SV-237MK amplifier Looking for £1200 It is less than a year old. I Bought it from Vinyl Passion. It is in mint condition as you can see, Very powerful 150wpc. It is a monster of an amp fully RC line level, Cost me £1800. I would consider a swap for a good quaility power amp of similar value. Comes with original box and packageing. Upgraded valve, Genelec Gold Dragon.

I would even consider a swap for a good quality Phono stage or MC cartridfe (Must be in mint condition)

Hi Steve, I have an Audion Silver Night Mk2 that I would consider swapping. It's a 300b SET power amp, with a volume control so it can be used as a single-input integrated.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Having had my friends Vincent on loan for two months whilst I waited for delivery of my new amp, I can honestly say that they are extremely good IMO, the SV-234 I had went to Jerry who I believe was pretty impressed with it. I think the 237 was the next one up the range.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

Many thanks Steve but i already have low powered valve power amps. I was looking for something a little more powerful.

No worries Steve - I'm happy with the Audion, but you know how it is, sometimes you get an itch to try something else I would have bought your Vincent, but I already have a Bow integrated which I still haven't got round to selling, and there's only so much 'Hifi crap' (her words) I can keep in this little house! Default Re your Vincent SV 237mk

    Hi there,
As you can see I'm a new member so hope I'm doing this right. I am borrowing a Vincent SV-237MK at the moment with a view to buying one. It's a nice sounding amp and I'm trying to decide what I feel about it. I am driving Audio Note AN-J/Sp speakers which have an efficiency of about 93db/Watt, so at normal decent volumes, the Vincent volume knob only just comes off the stop! I do like the sound though, but because of that I'm not sure it's the best match...is this something you've experienced with yours??
    Thanks. Tony
