    Default WANTED: Black Granite Board

Noticed on Ebay a nice piece of black granite (chopping board) with rounded edges at 50 x 40 cm for a great price of eighteen pounds in Matlock, pick up only! I live in Croydon sadly.

Does anyone know of a supplier who might do a similar black granite block with round edges, most of the chopping boards on Ebay & Amazon have square corners. Want it to go under my CD player that comes in at 45 x 33 cm, and also under my two decks as well.

    Thanks

    Mark

Yep, type of place I use. The worktop cut outs for sinks and hobs usually go in the skip. So few quid for them to round off the corners and polish the sides, job done.
You can easily polish yourself if you have a sander at home.

TK max have chopping boards on occasion at decent prices

I been getting mine from the tile shop, quite a choice of types, and cut them whit the tile cutter made pretty nice fronts for my F5 after 12 years they are still nice shiny and scratch-less

same of the big tiles are 600 X 400 just time and patience to cut them the diamond drills for small holes cost a £5 er for a set

    Hi Mark,

My CD player did not like being on granite. Reduced openness, warm sounding, reduced dynamics. Yours may react differently.
If you are trying to eliminate vibration through your support, the soundeck discs are very much worth trying. They really do work.
