I'm Mike.
Cantilever looks a bit off centre ( photo #10 ), but no doubt with eBay it'll go stupid money.
I sold mine a while back, I'll watch it anyway.

I'd never buy a used cartridge from E-Bay. You have no idea what has happened to it.
I hear and understand exactly what you mean Al but to be honest, I sincerely believe the same can be said for most second hand purchases in general.
You have to use your noddle a bit and not be afraid to ask the seller as many questions as possible.
Always engage in communication, if that doesnt seem to happen or flow then yes, of course, walk away. You tend to get a 'feel'.
Many agree that second hand hifi can be the way to some serious, otherwise unobtainable kit due to cost.
I've built my own system that way Ebay included, as I say, you have to approach by using your nod, caution and discernment.
I have a system I just could never have afforded if it wasnt for the market of used kit.
My Spendor D7s were an eBay purchase, like new in 2018, 11 months old, boxed, all manuals, spikes, packaging, everything, paid way way below anywhere new cost. Drove over to the sellers home, was a lovely guy.
Cadenza Black - £1850 now. Another Ebay purchase, did my homework, questions, communication etc, was assured low hrs - Bingo ! bagged for over minus £1k of new now, yep. Got a good run out of it too.
The FGS re-tip was £450 and said cart is giving me the best replay I've ever had.
You are always taking a risk with used, BUT if you use your head and know when to walk away, you'll usually end up with a good result, eBay included from my experience

Cantilever looks skewed... Great cart with nice bass but lacking the best top end finesse...
Sold mine here after I picked up a Cadenza Bronze mint boxed other than a lack of cantilever for under £300.00. New sapphire cantilever and paratrace tip was just over £300.00 so for about £600.00 I cannot complain buying used.

Over the years, I’ve often bought s/h via eBay and other. Currently the only item is my SL1210M5G. I purchased a Kontapunct B in 2004 via eBay from the States and used it very successfully for a number of years before finally moving it on.
