    Default Moon Gel pads

Moon Gel dampening pads, selling on Ebay for about six quid, used by drummers. Anyone tried them for stylus cleaning, and are they any good? I can't remember where I saw these recommended.

Sorry, I think this thread may belong somewhere else

You clown! I thought I was looking at an ad prior to the subject starting, and by the time I realised I wasn't, I was hooked. Watched the whole thing Shame I couldn't have the sound up, but Anita is already worrying about my mental health.

They were indeed, they had innocence, and the clumsy low-tech production just adds to the charm. It's what we grew up with, and we turned out ok

The modern kiddie cartoons you get on CITV, CBeebies etc are mostly computer generated and are just awful. And what the bloody hell did they do to Thunderbirds? They completely sucked all the charm out of it, stopping just short of sending the cameras up to Thunderbird 5 to expose Alan's porn collection And the new Thunderbird 2 (my favourite) is just plain wrong

Edit: it was John, not Alan. Sorry Alan

From a genuine query about stylus cleaning accessories to John Tracy's wank mags, in 7 posts. That's got to be a record, surely

This is what I used, works very well. Gel in a little snuff box, just lower the stylus in. Bit pricey , I paid half that, but it works well and lasts forever,. https://www.analogueseduction.net/st...s-cleaner.html
