    HELP HELP , can anyone recommend a set of good quality Z plugs for a pair of Pulk audio speaker cables I have

    I can then attempt to fit them

    Here you go Al, very easy to fit as they are screw terminated.

    I often use similar. Yes, the covers screw on.

    Thanks Dave , next question do you know if they go up the cable first or can you screw them on from the Z plug end after soldering / screwing the cable on ?

    normally al,they screw on from the front.

    Connect cable and then the covers screw on from the plug end.

    Those Litz speaker cables are worth more if left as they are and unmolested. They are now quite sought after and can fetch a few bob. They were made in Japan, but also marketed here by Monitor audio and I believe Monster in the late seventies. The sound quality can be remarkably good in the right system, but they can present a tricky load for some amplifiers. I've owned a couple of sets of these.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    OK I may just use them as is with no Z plugs see what happens
