    I'm not selling as it's a keeper.

Thanks that's interesting as I've always liked the Yamaha sound, and want to try the variable loudness feature they often fit as most of my listening is quiet late at night.

A nice Accuphase for £575 but it’s a bit of a hike unless he will post.

I've a had few amps Lawrence and this one is right up there, the convenience of the remote and the app are excellent however it plays anything except a HDD connected to the USB port on the front think it has to be a pen drive with a small capacity I tried to hook up a HDD with my backed up flac files (250gig) but it wouldn't play them however when I had the innous Zen the amp played the files from that no problem a bit clunky though when selecting stuff but most of the time I used Ipeng and airplay to play the music from the network.

The radios are all excellent BTW even the DAB and the phono stage is decent.

Very occasionally the amps show up on AV forums (the smaller version has just been sold on there BTW).

Mine's silver but I don't think RS have any silver ones left.

PS, the Quad Vena 2 that's for sale here looks the business the Yamaha has a similar Dac to the Quad but the Quad one is probably better.

i beg to differ, the KIS version has a better power supply, better caps etc. i use it with my Monitor Audio's and it sounds very nice indeed, in my room half volume is enough to shake the floor and make your ears bleed.
