Default FS Sugden A21a with phono stage

For sale: Sugden A21a integrated with phono stage. I bought this version of the slimline model with the fancy gold script as I've read that this is the finest of the A21a and I know John at MAX is a big fan of this particular version. I'm also told that the phono stage is excellent in these. I bought it to tinker with my proac 1sc, so i could hear them how theyre supposed to sound. I'm now back on to my AN setup.

Condition is fair given its age. It had one owner before me who had it in rack and never touched it for years. When I bought it the tape monitor and mono buttons were sticky so I gave them a good spray with contact cleaner and they were fine. The heat sinks paint is slightly lighter than the dark black of the main case probably due to heat. Its 25 years old I guess.
Important bit, it sounds beautiful, really beautiful, particularly with my proacs and taking the above into account, it looks nice too.

No original box but I'll box carefully.

    £470 plus p&p

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
