New carb fitted and now running like new
Only problem with that is I now need to go and use it instead of sitting on my arse

Stick a Yammy FS1E, 'Fizzy' 50cc engine to it with a big bore exhaust on. Bigger jets in the carburettor, it will then go from cutting 3 metres a minute to 3.1 metres per minute. With to the exhaust/jets upgrade, this will go to 3.111 per minute. And you be able to hear it from 2 miles away.
Sigh...those were the days
Seems like the main jet was blocked, so new fuel filter required and ordered.
I found out by blowing the fuel line out with compressed air. The primer bulb inflated, and popped..... New primer bulb ordered.
This has been one of the worst tools I have ever owned. I feel like melting it down, and making something useful like a brick out of it.
The reason I say that is that it is out of balance somewhere, and vibrates itself to bits. The most amusing time was when the fuel tank straps broke from fatigue and the tank fell off. Utter piece of sh#t. I have now made a new strap that relies on a spring to hold the tank on. That should last a bit longer.

Ah lol. I have a Stihl brush cutter, Husqvarna chainsaw and an Echo hedge cutter, all of them brilliant, not necessarily the cheapest but work just great. My Honda mowers are the same, cost a bit more but they both just run and run.
I do realise I just tempted fate....

I have Stihl, Shindaiwa, Husqvarna, Toro and Yardman gardening tools. All of them are great as they have decent engines (Kawasaki or Briggs and Stratton) except for this POS Ryobi.
It really has been terrible.
