Just back from my usual bike ride circuit (lots of people out on bikes) - I got rather hot, so shower then bottle or two of beer in garden, dog has just come in panting so it must be warm out there (no thermometer to check though, but guess it must be about twenty?).

Pre-lunch aperitifs (Negroni cocktails) and a starter of cured Italian cold meats, with feta-stuffed peppers and red-hot chillies, plus stuffed vine leaves, all from Lidl, and absolutely superb!
Followed by homemade spicy chicken kebabs and Welsh lamb with mint kebabs, cooked on the BBQ, with a selection of Del's salad 'specials', all washed down with a rather lovely bottle of Vacqueyras!
