It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

To answer the original question, yes. I am still posting kit. I run a loan scheme in Europe for a HiFi manufacturer. People have time on their hands and it is a good time to listen to new kit. It also helps the manufacturer keep going.

I'm a postie, so I'm handling this 'infected' mail for several hours everyday - including loads of packets from China (yes, people are still ordering from china) Try as I might, it's impossible to be absolutely 'safe' when out delivering. It's difficult not to touch your face for five hours and now that all the non essential places are closed, there's nowhere to wash our hands. I do have some hand sanitiser (not supplied by Royal Mail I hasten to add), but realistically, I'll not get a chance to use that more than once an hour.
Anyway... I've not been infected. None of my colleagues have been infected, so I can only conclude that the gestation period for this virus on surfaces is quite short. This isn't scientific, but it is a observation based on several weeks experience. Personally, when I get mail and packages, I open them, discard the packaging and wash my hands - just in case. The greatest risk seems to be being touched by, or being coughed/sneezed on my someone infected.
