Anyone managed to catch CV-19 yet ? Or actually know someone with a confirmed case.

I live in a small community (not a commune) of more mature people from about 50 to a 100 years old, and the youngest one has it and has been hospitalised but so far she is the only one out of the 60 of us that live here. Apparently she is now quite bad, but that may be because of the sepsis she has picked up in the hospital, as our local one has a bit of a reputation for hospital acquired infections.

    How's everyone else doing?

Obviously she doesn't look as good as you in yours, but any port in a storm We're vey well Alan, just trying to keep busy with gardening/painting/Scrabble/quizzes, oh and music I haven't got round to playing yet. Some nice surprises from Sarah McLachlan, Gregory Porter Agnes Obel and Beck. Shame Kegworth didn't happen, I had one or two questions (and a nice bottle of wine) which will now wait till later this year (fingers crossed)

Hope you and Shirley are holding up well, I know you'll have some nice garden and electrical doodahs to keep you busy

    Look after yourself Macca.
Plenty of fluids and paracetamol. It may not be the COVID-19, but don’t take any chances.

Sorry to hear that Martin, hopefully it's something else (there is still a fair bit of colds/flu about). Can you get a neighbour to help you out foodwise?

Nightmare, mate. Hopefully not, but even if you do you're most likely just to experience light flu symptoms [like Gaz had], and Boris! It's really important to take plenty of hot drinks and also boost your vitamin C. Have you got any fresh orange juice? If so, drink plenty!

Hopefully one of your neighbours can get you some food, but of course there are still the delivery companies. Anyway, keep us posted on how you are.
