I was joking, of course, about the 'fuck off' bit. However, as a lone driver simply out to conduct two currently permitted activities: food shopping and fuel purchasing, I'd have had every right to defend my right to have been there!

Put it this way he was quite a long time with this car when the others were a ok & off

P.S I don't use Facebook (or other common forms of social media) - way too full of tossers.
Just to clarify, what is it that's big enough to jog around, your garden or your bollox?

I too washed the car today. Cut the grass the other day, so should be OK for the next couple of weeks.

People round here do seem to be avoiding one another when out - and doing it with good grace and a smile.

Not walking around with a 2mtr tape measure in front of them then?. Just so pathetic doing shit like that. I even see a prat with a full mask on, I thought it was Jacques cousteau going for a deep sea dive or summert.

I know you're trying to be amusing, but it is quite easy to give fellow walkers a sufficiently wide berth when out. There is nothing 'prattish' about using a face mask, if you want to wear one.

Maybe it's because us northerners are just friendly by nature, but this social distancing in my experience has just made those around me more friendly and courteous. A smile for a stranger makes me feel a bit better, especially as it is always returned. Might even become a habit by the time we get back to normal
