    Default Well hello people....

    Hello all,
    Thank you for being here.
Have been a reader for a bit and thought I might say hi.
I'm a curious and thoughtful collector of vinyl and venturing into diy projects.
    Gear:-.
    Rotel 920ax int amp
    Rotel 930ax cd player
    Rotel 870 tape player
    Schitt Mani
    Sony eq-2
    Hitachi ht-500 tt Shure me97he
    Bd3200 suspended tt in 25kg plinth / nagaoka mp-110
    Td150 mk2 /Tokyo sound st14 / fr 101 se
    tannoy Cheviot

And a few others not in use...
You know how this thing can be......

    So there you go
I'm happy with what I have and have managed to make the music my focus, despite the temptation to be taken by the greener grass, which in my opinion...
Is a now very sophisticated misleading often unnecessary form of mass media marketing for the seller not the ears.
A 10k but if kit would get me around the world on a concert tour of great bands and orchestras, which would you prefer??

    Hi
Welcome - nice to have more vinyl fans around
My step daughter has just gone out to Perth - she's maybe chosen the wrong time!
Hope your all safe over there in these testing times

    Thanks for the welcome 😀
And yes the days of socializing seem to be rapidly drawing to an end, at least publicly, not enough control of the space we occupy.
    But that said....
No reason to not sit on the other end of the deck taking turns on the BBQ, album selection, fridge trips, etc
Go well all, distant hugs 😮

    Cheers
I don't think I'll be getting the BBQ out just yet - I've only managed to get Haribos and a bag of crushed pretzels from the Supermarket this morning !!

    Hi Ge

I returned to Vinyl only just over 4 yers ago and love it, why I went digital apart from ease of use I do not know.

    Welcome aboard.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
