Default Private Exhibitions - Still no pics !!!

Does make you wonder why despite untold attempts to get folk to read the rules and use common sense, we're still seeing posts for items sometimes up for thouŁandŁ, no pics.....

Plenty good quantity pics from every angle of actual item should be standard thinking somehow, in my book, regardless of price.

Might be an idea now to have in red next to the words Private Exhibitions - MUST INCLUDE QUALITY PICTURES, FRONT REAR, TOP SIDES ETC OF ACTUAL ITEM & INCLUDE PRICE !!!

I'm sure mods could do this.

If that doesn't do it, nothing will

If it can be done (I'm not sure how to amend the wording of entire 'rooms') we might try it.

In the meanwhile, any items put up for sale in Private Exhibitions without photos are deleted immediately.

My own view is those here just to sell, don’t contribute to the forum who are repeat offenders should lose posting rights in private exhibitions. Frankly I am tired of chasing lazy entitled people who think that its ok to try and sell anything with out pictures. I am sure they are among the first demanding pictures when they are looking to buy stuff.

I don’t pm any more to be greeted with attitude, I just delete the listings, that break the rules.
    Regards Neil

When you click on Private Exhibitions, you then see Post New Thread, directly under that is Forum:Private Exhibitions. Now it could go next to that, you just couldn't miss it,

so Forum:Private Exhibitions - MUST INCLUDE QUALITY PICTURES, FRONT REAR, TOP SIDES ETC OF ACTUAL ITEM & INCLUDE PRICE !!! Ad will otherwise be deleted immediately!

If that doesn't work then as I say, nothing will .....(You forfeit the right to be on any forum I'd say )

It may well do Robbie, but to edit the "Forum:Private Exhibitions" may require permissions held only by Admin; we Moderators cannot do it ourselves.

As I say, any 'for sale' posts made that do not include photos at the time of posting (not "images to follow", or links to photo-hosting sites) will be immediately deleted without warning.

Can I also suggest that in the current environment classifieds are only permitted for postage and that collection is not an option to be offered until this all blows over?

Thanks Alex, if that was seen as too restrictive maybe ICs could be allowed with deposits paid for collection at some point in the future.
