    Default Ignore function and moderators

Does AoS realize it’s loosing members due to the driveling of various participants?

When it’s brought to notice the post gets closed.

AoS was a great source of information for me. There are many forums, AoS was my choice.

Moderators should realize there’s an issue, not close down threads that have great relevance.

    Hi Gary,

Thanks for your input, which as ever has been noted. However, moderating decisions, which are always carefully considered before taking, once taken, are not up for debate.

Someone asking how to use the ignore function is one thing, and fine, but once that's been explained, 'outing' the person concerned, to be ignored, and in the process ridiculing them, serves no constructive purpose whatsoever, and indeed is frowned upon.

We have 1000s of members here on AoS, not all of whom you'll necessarily like, agree or get on with, but regardless they are who they are and may be appreciated or valued by others, so the only proper course of action is to accept that fact and use the ignore function if necessary, not question our moderating decisions.

Therefore this thread is now closed. Please don't start another on the same theme.

    Marco.
