    I'd like to block the monotonous drivel that a certain member constantly posts.

    There is the option to add someone to the ignore list.
    You will find this on their profile page.

    Yep, look in profile or settings, I’ve used it on probably that certain person you’re referring to.

    Works well, you can totally ignore any one that MADE totally monotonous drivel.
