O dear i get sick of hearing about it.I have to watch crap TV to get away from it. Common sense made into something complicated as per usual. But im sorry the world is full of self centred people they will just do what they want to do.

Less than a month on from the outbreak peak, China have reported only eight new confirmed Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, so it may be that the infection rate will continue to decline, assuming the published figures can be relied upon.

Hopefully, if the rest of affected countries including the UK follow this pattern we could be past the worst by mid April (fingers crossed).

I've been 'self isolating' as best I can for a couple of weeks now. Contact with others being minimal.

ive put a virus detection into play on my pc just in case yup, my door is locked and stays that way...if i have to go out i have to go out but otherwise i rarely see anyone anyway

I totally agree, *but* that's presuming we can contain the virus as successfully as the Chinese have done. Fingers crossed, but I have my doubts, as we're nowhere near as well organised!

What really really amazes me is these isolation wards, Why is it that wards in general are so desperate for Beds yet they materialise out of nowhere when something like this turn up

some reckon the chinese knew what they were dealing with straight away tho... hong kong and singapore are both orginised under the boot type countries too so not surprising they have done well. Italy and Usa are both disaster areas for an outbreak so could be why they are in trouble.

Exactly - TOTALLY different mentalities! I'm proudly Italian, but their disorganised, often lazy-minded mentality (and tendency to blindly panic during difficulties) was always going to be a recipe for disaster with this virus, and with America, in terms of mindless behaviour and selfishness, it's not much better.

This is a time for cool heads and [very focussed] rational behaviour; traits that the Chinese nations excel in. Therefore, here in the UK, we need to try and emulate that when dealing with this virus.
