No it's just a shower situated over a hole in the ground. Use it too long you flood the whole flat, Been there. Also the concrete you stand on under the shower will be really rough, Like they just used a chunk from a bomb-damaged Nazi bunker.

After 3 weeks of flogging round Southern Europe in August, and the heat and the flies, I made a sensible decision and went North. I wanted rain and damp.

Nipped through Denmark. and onto Sweden. Sweden was fascinating. I had no idea about the language, but everybody was terrifically friendly and I remet my friend Peter Gustafson in Orebro.

My last destination was Norway. I had a little Norwegian sweetheart called Eva in Moss. I had met her in London. Moss, I now know, is the town where SEAS loudspeakers do their business.

A happy week in Norway. But the bathroom plumbing was unfamiliar. As was Eva's mother, who wandered round the house half-naked most of the time.

You just pretend not to notice. You follow?

Let’s spell it out, for those who don’t know the history. The BBC was set up to limit free speech.

In June 1920, Marconi, with backing from the Daily Mail, made the first (private) radio broadcast in Britain. The British State, run by Britain’s ruling class, was horrified. They feared the masses, and they feared free mass communication. In America there had been an explosion of private radio stations, broadcasting whatever they liked. Within months, radio broadcasting in Britain had been banned. Scores of private companies were itching to get into radio broadcasting and repeatedly petitioned the government. In response, the British State announced in 1922 that it would control all radio broadcasting. When TV came along, the same thing happened. Companies like Marconi, the Daily Mail, HMV, EMI and others were dying to plunge in. But TV was declared to be a State monopoly.

Indeed... I wouldn't consider the figures quoted to be particularly accurate, for the very reasons you've outlined, and which I also did way back on this thread.

For me, for *whatever reason*, dubious or otherwise [among other things, I'd suggest to encourage a high take-up of the vaccine once it's properly rolled out], they (the government/media/powers that be) WANT the stats to look worse than they are, and to paint the gloomiest picture possible of the situation we're in with this pandemic.

Absolutely, which is why I *NEVER* take as gospel a single word that the BBC (or most mainstream media) have to say, as its invariably driven by agenda and bias.

Therefore, in that respect, swallowing everything that the likes of the BBC news reports (on any important subject) is, quite simply, the behaviour of a gullible muppet. If you want the truth on any matter, or closer to it than the BBC will ever disclose, then use less regulated and controlled, independent sources instead, for such information.

However, what's worth noting, considering the situation we're in at the moment with Covid-19, is the MENTALITY of the 'powers that be', in terms of censoring anything that they consider is 'dangerous' for the masses to know, or that will expose their brainwashing. That stuff didn't just happen back then; it's STILL happening, and indeed alive and kicking, NOW...

And that is why we must continue using all the available uncensored channels we can, in order to EXPOSE their lies and reveal the truth!
