I've never seen anyone in my local shop wearing a mask. I've got one of those gaiter things I just pull that up over my face. Looks like I am going to rob the joint but it qualifies as a mask as per the letter of the law.
A couple of times other customers have looked at me oddly and then you can see in their faces that they suddenly remember 'Oh yeah! Coronavirus!'. And then they just carry on.
