1) They have severe OCD.

2) They don't have anything else better to do with their spare time/no real life.

Lol... You're being very old-fashioned, Gaz-baz... Who says that the cleaning is always down to the lady of the house? That simply doesn't happen in the 21st century, especially when most couples have full-time jobs, so why should it be the "Mrs" who cleans?

We've always shared the task, and more recently when I went semi-retired and was working from home, I've done it all.

Nope she changed her mind and wanted something smaller and sportier. Plus, she's always loved Fiat 500s - especially the [very dinky] little original!

My mate has an original Arbarth 500 - he also has a Ferrari, and often takes them both to local car shows - the 500 always gets the most attention, especially from the ladies! It’s absolutely immaculate as all his cars are, and yes, have to agree they’re cute!

Time is the thing though, I'm out 11 hours a day and I like to get 8 hours kip, that only leaves 5 hours for me which is either music or telly time. Back when I was on the rock and roll the place was immaculate. Old houses harder to keep clean too.
