Amazingly though it survived, but I believe was rendered blind...

No it was the precursor to the picture-framing/art business I ended up starting myself. Beforehand I used to work for a company doing the same, and where during the day you cold-called business premises to sell stuff (essentially a van dropped you off in an industrial estate in the morning and collected you around 4pm), and you just sold to anyone you could. Then from 5-10pm you did residential stuff.

Bloody hard and often soul-destroying work in all weathers, on commission only too, but I became rather good it (and it certainly further honed my sales skills), and earned pretty decent money (averaging around £400 a week, cash in hand, for a then 24-year old). subsequently learning the business and then doing the same myself, a few years later, employing my own sales team, then developing the business from there on the corporate side, winning some big hotel and pub contracts (for supplying artwork for the public areas and bedrooms), and the rest is history!

Lol - I was still in school in the 80s (well until 84). This was in the early 90s.

I know the prints you mean, but I don't think so. It was mostly images based on specific themes and colour schemes, working with interior designers, etc, and travelling all over the UK, I enjoyed it a lot

Under ancient English Common Law, should Marco and his Wrexham Taffy anti-vax Covid-19 friends ever turn up in our fine English Shrewsbury Town...

Like Chester. We are entitlled to shoot them with a Bow and Arrow. Personally, I'd use a modern longer distance rifle. A matter of common-sense.

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Ha - very good! But importantly, I've told others and you before, so please let it SINK in... I AM NOT (fundamentally by nature) 'ANTI-VAX'; I'm simply anti having *this specific one for Covid*, for legitimate reasons already given, and which I presume you've read?

And so there is a difference! Therefore, the next person to incorrectly label me as 'anti-vax' will getting a severe virtual spanking

Meaning of anti-vaxxer.....pay attention to the second paragraph....I don't think Marco is an anti-vaxxer

Some people might simply be a bit unsure about whether or not they want one.

There are also people who are against vaccinations - they're known as 'anti-vaxxers' - and are part of the anti-vaccination movement.

Indeed, Alan, and I'm not part of any such 'movement'. Wouldn't interest me one iota! This is a one-off, as I've never before felt it necessary to take such a stance.

Basically, if using MY judgement criteria, *I* consider that *I* need vaccinated for something, and if using MY judgement criteria, *I* consider it as safe, then I'll have it, and if not, I won't. And I won't bow to anyone who doesn't like or agree with my stance.

Simples... It's called having a mind of your own, and the confidence to follow that, rather than succumbing to peer pressure, simply to comply with 'official advice', or fit in with the masses

Unfortunately Marco., this day and age, when it comes right down to the nitty gritty, the powers that be consider us all, to be just a number.
