lol, I meant 'bitters' which is what the mixture is know as, not bitter It's about balance, which is vital and beneficail to the body and health. Bitters is the cleansing of the system aspect. We know what just sweet/too much sweet does to the body, hence the body/system needs the other side, for proper good health and well-being http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/news/...-body_19228579

"Managed" though, is just another word for 'coped'... Is that a LIFE mate, or simply an existence? You deserve more!

I understand and accept the restrictions placed upon you by your health issues, but most of us who are still healthy insist on LIVING, not merely existing, and the only way to do that, is staying in control of your life as much as possible, and therefore in charge of what affects it, rather than being a glorified slave (directly or indirectly) to the system and the 'powers that be'.

How can you just eat and eat, pollute the system and never cleanse it ?? makes no sense. The build up poisons and all manner of toxins is not good for the system at all, hence it becomes diseased, sometimes leading to cancers, blood pressure, sugar diabetes and so on.

At least know the health benefits of the simple things available to you, Water, garlic, turmeric, onions, beetroot, ginger, fruits-vit C, Vit K2, D3, Green tea and other herbal drinks. Lemon, green leaf, super herbs like Spirulina and chlorella, and ALL berries, which have amazing health benefit.

Boosting your immune system is key ! and by doing so you are gaining far more good benefit to your general, overall health than any flu jab inoculation behavior

We need to be smart and educate our selves, high blood pressure aint no joke either. Cut down on the sugar, salt, drink lots of water at least, learn about the good things for the body and what to avoid, ie: fatty diet, artificial sweeteners which are basically carcinogenic but our so called great sugar free alternatives are loaded with them, same the colours (chemicals) in our foods.

Be smart and informed, then act on it for our own good. Trust no one but your own knowledge and wisdom. The more you know and learn, the harder and less likely that you will be just going along with things, willy nilly, to your detriment.
Amen to that, bro - especially the bits in bold!! Forever remain as a FREE THINKER/FREE MAN - never become a robot programmed to serve the system or those who control it!

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

As an aside, although related to the discussion, one of the best side effect-free painkillers (if consumed in moderation) known to man, is cannabis! So do you ever think it'll be made legal, despite it having been talked about for years?

    No fucking chance!

True Marco, marijuana has many benefits, but nothing smoked will be good for you in the long run. Things become toxic when burned, plus the tar and your lungs etc https://www.healtheuropa.eu/health-b...annabis/92499/

I remember my Mum telling me many years ago. She was in Jamaica on a visit and she was feeling pretty rough.

Her brother in law I think it was, went off and boiled some 'herb/weed/ganja/cannabis/marijuana concoction for her to drink.

She told me she slept like a baby that evening and when she woke up in the morning she had never felt better, fresh, alive and full of revived energy she said, which was an experience and memory that has stayed with her.

By the way, they'll only make it legal once/if they have a big stake in it in terms of money made, you know that

Sure, but it doesn't have to be smoked; it could be taken in tablet form. Plus, I'm not advocating that it should be used all the time, in a recreational sense, as too much of *anything* is bad for you; simply that it could be consumed solely for pain relief, as an alternative to paracetamol.

No, I know you're not advocating the smoking of it and I agree totally, tablet or powder form, once all relevant research conducted.

Indeed, which is why we [the people] need to start taking more control of the world we live in, instead of simply being compliant sheep for the system!

Nice story, btw, and one I can wholly relate to
