She's gone WAY down in my estimation recently, for various reasons. I'll continue to support Scottish independence, but not Sturgeon! Mind you. Drakeford's also dead to me now, since introducing 'Covid passes' for use in Wales, after a rather controversial vote, where it all came down to one vote, carrying the motion in favour of 'for'.

Apparently, it was all done remotely on a Zoom call, with one MP somewhat 'conveniently' claiming he had Internet problems and therefore couldn't vote, which meant the rotten-to-the-core, civil liberty eroding shite being introduced!

The claim is that these passes are only being used as a temporary measure to help keep businesses like night clubs open during the pandemic... Well, we'll see how 'temporary' they become in due course., especially when the worst effects of Covid have long since passed...

Positive tests: 40,224 (34,574).

Deaths: 28 (38).

Hospitalisations: 816 (817).

Not sure if there's been another spike in cases, as they've taken a significant jump upwards from yesterday, or simply a catch up from the weekend. We'll find that out tomorrow if new cases remain around the 40k mark, or go back down to nearer the 34k+ we had before.

Deaths are artificially low, of course, due to the weekend, but still generally on a downwards trend. Hospitalisations remain stable, but if would be good to see them back down at the 600-odd we had last week, or lower!

We'll see what the 'Tuesday hike' brings tomorrow.

New cases: 4,469 (5,705).

Deaths: 8 (23).

Good to see both new cases and deaths going down, but that could simply be because it's Monday and data hasn't been updated yet from the weekend. We'll see how things are tomorrow.

Interesting... I liked this quote:

This cunting thing was developed in a lab and 'somehow released' into the atmosphere, of that I'm virtually certain - and I want to see whoever was responsible (by that I mean the head honchos), not some lowly lab rat(s), who simply obeyed orders, brought to justice in the *severest* way possible!!!

So... Good news is that new cases haven't gone up as much as they could've and remain well below the 40K threshold. I was expecting deaths to be a little lower, but I suspect they'll come down back to around the 150 mark tomorrow. Also pleased that hospitalisations are going down again.

This is very interesting, while YouTube is not necessarily a great source in itself, when it points directly at a deceptive BBC broadcast (or any others) it becomes very useful.

We often hear that we’re following science, but what defines science, or more importantly scientist. In the above reported debunk the lead “scientist” that’s alluded to is in fact a college student and journalist.

The quoted number of studies, studied, are never identified.

The BBC cannot be trusted to report anything truthfully, likewise Government figures, statistics, call them what you will are not trustworthy.

While you could argue that there is value in comparisons, if you compare false with false......guess what, you’re left with? Figures that are meaningless.

Now that Covid-19 is becoming less frightening, beware the Jabberwocky my son, otherwise known as bad winter ‘flu. Will we now see two figures again for Covid and ‘flu, but when added together threaten to overwhelm the NHS (remember the Nightingale hospitals, never used.) and lead us to lockdown?
