I believe most people are born with pretty much the same mentality, but things such as upbringing, health, financial circumstances, and to some degree luck, shape us into what we are today. Of course there will always be some miserable shites for whom nothing is ever good enough. As free thinkers, (yes I consider myself to be one!) we just need to accept that others may think differently, doesn't mean they've been brainwashed

I do accept that (the post you're referring to was somewhat tongue-in-cheek). However, anyone who comes into the category of swallowing everything that the government and media tells them is true, without challenging it [and I'm not saying that applies to anyone here], *HAS* been brainwashed!

In that respect, those guilty really do need to start having a mind of their own, and just for a change, demonstrating a modicum of intelligence.

I put my modicum of intelligence on Ebay, as I wasn't using it. I was even prepared to demonstrate it to anyone interested, but no takers so far Some folk are perfectly happy to be thick as mince.

The fact is Boris and all his cronies have used Covid to scare the public (as have other countries) so that they can profit from it, pretty sick but true, a quick look at the companies who have been given huge orders for PPE that has not been provided proves that.

I could go on about the other things like the stupid app that was developed by politicians mates then scrapped but I don't have time.

Covid does not kill fit and healthy people, if it did we would have thousands of dead people all over the country who have died from it, the fact remains the morons running the country instructed the NHS to put down cause of death as Covid for anyone testing positive even if they did not die from it.

Interesting observation. On the one hand you have people criticising the government for sending the children back to school and people back to work because it's 'too dangerous' and on the other hand you have people criticising the government for creating panic and hysteria over Covid when it is unwarranted. Which is it? Because it can't be both.

The government response to Covid has been inconsistent to say the least. They have swung wildly from Boris' famed 'herd immunity' to Hancocks latest 'don't kill your granny', this is a government without direction and conviction. I certainly think schools should go back, and people back to work, yes i have some reservations, I've heard of the odd healthy not so old person dying from this disease, but by and large it seems it really is only the most vulnerable who are at risk.
