The Covid restrictions are to be progressively relaxed following this current so called 'final lockdown'.

Personally, regardless of the vaccination programme, I think we'll see another rise in infections later in the year. It'll be caused by younger people mingling without caution as before, they won't learn and don't care. They've not been vaccinated yet and I expect many won't even bother.

Vaccination will probably make things safer for older folk though, but I wouldn't rule out the need for another lockdown.

Guys, I'm not taking sides here, as I can sympathise with elements of all the views that have been expressed, but let's just remember that this is a sensitive subject and that many people have died and lost loved ones as a result of this virus.

Therefore, it's not really the place for backslapping viewpoints that others may find offensive, and so I'd ask that everyone shows due consideration for that fact and tries to be a little more considerate. Ta!

This is absolute madness..full lockdown should be kept in place until at the very least, all of the adult population has been vaccinated.
