The BBC news heralded the lowering of cases yesterday. Now they have soared and that's before we abandon masks.
As Geoff said, t's all about pandering to those who feel safe and secure. What worries me are the millions who are still vulnerable and those shielding.

ive got used to not mixing now. sad as that may seem. i do go out put very much pick my time and place, although at moment its not possible really. when out i wear 99% masks where i can, and have a uvc box to sterilize them as best i can to save a bit of money as they usually have had little wear.

Luckily I have no social life, COVID or not, so I naturally “social distance”. I never stopped wearing masks last time they were discontinued and will still carry on wearing them as I’ve not had any sort of cold or transmissible illness in over two years. But I suspect I will be in the minority, so Tesco will be a challenge dodging the fuckwits but otherwise I will be carrying on as “new (old) normal”.
