The problem is, all this 'incompetence' is rather convenient if you sign up to my theories on the matter, and regardless of that, could have dire consequences if they tip the balance of positives cases to the point that it triggers another national lockdown!

In that respect, I sincerely hope that whoever's 'incompetence' was responsible for the error is suitably punished, i.e the person (or persons) sacked. When you're a leader, you have to demonstrate leadership skills, as well as portraying consummate efficiency and professionalism - and I've seen precious little of that from this Tory government since this whole thing kicked off.

Just heard that Anita's dad's next door neighbours went for a Covid test as the wife was feeling a bit unwell. They queued for one and a half hours before deciding 'sod this' and leaving. Imagine their surprise when the next day they were informed that their test results were 'positive'. What's that all about?

They asked their cousin (who's a nurse) who should they speak to about this, to which she replied "I wouldn't bother, this is happening a lot".
