I was on the verge of contacting my MP because our local vaccination centre has been closed 5 days/week, which I couldn't understand. Then I got the call to make an appointment.

I never cease to be amazed at how nice everyone in the NHS. I have had more than my share of contact with Nurses, Doctors, GPs and Consultants this past year and everyone has been brilliant.

Of course. Although the vaccine provides some much-needed hope for the future, many will remain cautious for some time, and rightly so. I just hope this caution doesn't become the "new normal". With a finite number of summers left, I want to enjoy them on my own terms.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Well, it's not 100% protection and it only helps prevent severe infection, so I will be doing the same as you. I won't be eating out or attending parties etc until the infection figures plummet.

Almost 15% of the UK have been vaccinated already! That’s absolutely amazing work from the NHS in my opinion.

Had the government been this organised at the start it would have been a very different landscape out there.

As a Man who studies the News, I do have to wonder why the UK has secured 300M jabs.

I mean, we only have 66M people?

That's 5 jabs each. Clearly things are going to get worse before they get better.

2 each, and everyone will need it every year. Different vaccines may be better, or with variants so don't buy all one type. Etc
