The thing is, whilst what Sandro says is an undeniable truism, what could happen with your future largely depends on how much you roll over and accept simply being a 'number' [meekly acquiesce], or how much you're willing to stand up and FIGHT for your freedom and right to be an individual, with a view of FORCING change if necessary.

The fact is, if enough people WANT something to happen (or not), as the case may be, IT WILL HAPPEN (or not), as it is ultimately the people who decide, not the government. I'll NEVER come into the 'meekly acquiesce' category, as that's fundamentally not how I'm wired.

Anyway, I've said this repeatedly throughout the thread, but it's worth repeating again: There is NO point in simply being alive, if you can't LIVE - and only if you are FREE, can you truly LIVE.

Therefore, going forward, I intend on having a life that's worth LIVING, as a FREE man, not simply an existence [under state control or similar] - and we should ALL be striving for the same!

Afternoon all !! I was busy farming ,and hadnt seen your reply Marco

I liken vaccination need to our dairy cow situation in a way . I attended college in the late 70's and we were taught about the benefits of cattle /pig vaccines and how they worked , yet my Dad wasnt convinced .
In the last ten years or more we use regular vaccination for diseases such as IBR , for example and you can get away without using vaccination most of the time but naive animals can get seriously ill with IBR (Infectious Bovine Rhinitis )
Its a virus that lives in infected anaimals but only sheds when that animal is under stress . The one thats not seen it can be really ill ,but most times it just like flu type stuff then they recover !

Also other things like Lepto and BVD we quard against. So yearly jabs for the ladies !
So ,have the vaccination please ,but if you prefer to play roulette with your life ,then risk not having it .

As they say ,the risk without it , is much greater than having had it !!

No worries, Anto. I take on board all of that, although I have no experience of farming, but don't doubt that the vaccinations for your cattle, as mentioned, are vital, and I hope they continue to stay healthy and productive

Cheers, and you also. As for the bit in bold, there are two ways of looking at that, if you consider the risk as potentially being more the other way round

Life is full of risks, and I may not be right, but after much thought, I've come to the decision that I'm confident I can cope with the thread of Covid, being reasonably young, healthy and with having a strong natural immune system, more than I may be able to cope with any adverse effects, particularly in the long term, an untried (on me) vaccine may have on my body.

That said (and indeed as I stated earlier), nothing is written in stone. Therefore, with an appropriate passage of time (based on my judgement criteria) and the revealing of more data, in terms of the medium to long-term effects of these vaccines, and if all seems well, or indeed if their efficacy is further improved, I may change my mind then.

However, for now, thanks for your thoughts and stay safe!
