Sadly my relatives are not in the least bit bothered, we already had a family do a couple of months back. So no escaping from Xmas for me.

Haha... Different mentality here, I'm afraid. I very much enjoy the company of my friends and family over Christmas, and LOVE Christmas in general. For us, this year will be little different, my dad, one of my friends, Del and me enjoying some top-notch grub and booze, plus choons, in a rather cosy and convivial festive environment

I'm the same, especially at work. 'Why are we doing this when it takes hours and achieves nothing when we could be doing this instead?'

At some companies this will brand you as a 'troublemaker'. At others you'll be considered a valuable asset. Sadly the latter type of company are pretty thin on the ground.

Same here. I was the main union rep at my work and also offered to represent anybody, union member or not in any discussions with the employer. Anything pointless or stupid was challenged, funny thing is, I got on well with the management. I think they realised I was there to help rather than be a thorn in the side.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

So WHY can't others be the same?[/B]

    Marco.
I believe most people are born with pretty much the same mentality, but things such as upbringing, health, financial circumstances, and to some degree luck, shape us into what we are today. Of course there will always be some miserable shites for whom nothing is ever good enough. As free thinkers, (yes I consider myself to be one!) we just need to accept that others may think differently, doesn't mean they've been brainwashed
