Yes, that's simply because you haven't studied the man properly, and instead have ignorantly labelled him as a 'nut', simply because you consider his views as heretical! Research him and his achievements to date and you may come to a different conclusion, although perhaps not, as your views (and biases) are very deeply ingrained.
