    The rest we're also in full agreement with. It's all wrong. If I was getting into politics, my goal would be to try and make the world a nicer and fairer place. Achieving it, even in some small way, would be my reward, as I've never been money or power-driven. I'm just not wired that way. Having an obsession with either for me usually indicates a very unhealthy form of insecurity.

    For me, genuine happiness and contentment (plus good health) are worth far more than any amount of money. And the only power that would interest me, would be the power to do good and make a genuine difference to the world, by improving the lives of people who need it the most.

    Those are the only reasons I'd get into politics for, but it sounds like I'd be banging my head against a brick wall.
