not saying it will go that way as i dont think it will but the country really cant afford anther 3/4 months of lockdown after this one; also it would be futile as vaccines obviously havent worked
Hence why that (including all the other reasons I stated previously) is why I won't be bothering with any vaccine, and instead remaining 'blissfully unadulterated,' and placing faith in my (seemingly perfectly well-functioning) natural immune system

There was me thinking you were "sick to the back teeth" with vaccine talk (post #6275), and yet here we are! C'mon buddy, give us something a bit less doom-and-gloom. And not more about your seemingly perfectly functioning natural immune system, which has had almost as many re-runs as the words "socially responsible"

Tell us what you had for your tea, or am I in the wrong thread?

Lol - someone else brought the bloody subject up after that, not me!

What are YOU having for your tea, daftee? You never say, and most importantly, who's cooking it?

Or the same in the past tense, if you're already had it.

I am SO going to give my Brainy and Rich Brother-in-Law a Hard Time next time I see him.

Having followed his Wedding Vows to my lovely sister, with a Child's eye. What Happened?

"I, JOHN take thee, JEAN, to be my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge thee my faith."
Thing is, when Jean inadvertently caught the wretched Germ, he was up the Street like a flash into rented accomodation. A day of reckoning should follow. Just my opinion.

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I don't understand this Grant, only a small percentage of the UK have been vaccinated, I can't see how this statement can be made..As for not being able to stand another 3/4months lockdown. When Boris relaxes the restrictions, that's exactly what is going to happen...more lockdowns I'm afraid...

Nope, it was you... only other mention of the 'v' word was in the context of your earlier complaint, and our attempts to change the subject. So

Oh, and tea for me was Chinese 'special' curry, ie everything in it. With rice. Delivered. Lazy end to a bone idle weekend Don't know who cooked it, probably Jock-the-Wok in the stripey socks. He may not be called Jock, it just rhymed.
