No doubt the 50% daily RI of vitamin D is provided by the milk you pour on the cornflakes.

I have always loved the old Corn Flakes. Excellent with milk, yoghurt and fruit.

Apparently better than toast for breakfast. Wheat and Bread just makes me feel bloated.

But, TBH, Egg, Bacon and Tomatoes is just the best start to the day.

Never liked that sort of muck (cereal), mainly because I hate cold 'raw' milk... Ugh!

Toast/butter & jam for me instead for breakfast, or if I want to treat myself, a nice croissant or pain au chocolat, to soak up my morning cappuccino!

As for Vitamin D, I get that naturally from the foods I eat, including fruit such as bananas, plus fresh orange juice, and all the (hot and frothy) cow's milk I have in my milky coffees!

Don't need to take any supplements.

Lol... The staunch British 'egg & chip' brigade abroad have always really amused me.

Go on holiday abroad to some lovely country, where the food (if done right) is 10-times better than it is here normally, yet resolutely refuse to eat anything but bland British stodge, which is even worse than it is 'back home'!

In such instances, the phrase: 'away and educate yer palates, ya clueless chavs', is never far from my lips
