I agree, mate, but remember who are supposed to be the *trained professionals*!!!

Properly trained police should know how to CALM a situation like that, and seek to do so, not inflame it

looks to me like the copper was already wound up by the abuse the woman was giving him, he threatens to arrest her if she carries on, at that point the bloke puts his hand on the copper's arm and the cop goes straight into subduing him. A bit over the top reaction by the copper, but then he is young and probably inexperienced.

of course in most other countries in the world if you were that aggressive to the cops you'd get a beating and be chucked in jail. And you'd need family to bring you food while you were in there as they don't provide it. And they can keep you in there without charge or trial for as long as they want. So it's all relative.

Notice the husband does nothing to control his wife, just stands there passively while she digs a hole for herself. You can see who wears the trousers in that house.

Indeed, mate, and we don't want the UK becoming anything remotely like that either, which is why when this sort of thing happens, it deserves highlighted and criticised in public. When/if we ever lose our right to do that, and CHALLENGE the authorities accordingly, that's when to worry!

I agree with the rest of your comments. The main point though was that the police appeared to show zero concern for the safety or well-being of the disabled child on the floor, who was a completely innocent party. That alone was both inexcusable and disgraceful.

Also, I haven't fully read the new laws, surrounding Coronavirus and this pandemic, but do they allow police just break into people's homes without a warrant? Or in the video concerned, did they only manage to gain entry because the owner opened the door and let them in?

The UK Cops, who are protectors of Property, and allegedly, Human Rights have been going downhill for years!

I used to work with a singularly deranged individual. Had some theory about Valhalla and the Vikings.

You can guess he was a bit Right-Wing.

I am all for a secular society in which anybody can believe any nonsense they fancy.

People are even asking whether the Jab is Vegan.

As it goes, I speak moderate Scandinavian and have read the Norse Sagas.

Anyway, he has been recruited into the Cops due to staff-shortage.

    God Help us all.

Marco - If they have sufficient grounds to believe that a crime is being committed on the premises then they can force entry, no warrant required. That's always been the case.

Covid vaccines extremely safe, finds UK regulator

The Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines being given to millions of people in the UK by the NHS are extremely safe, with some mild expected side-effects, says the country's drugs regulator.

It assessed safety reports from nearly seven million doses given up to 24 January - mostly with the Pfizer jab.

Some 22,820 suspected reactions were reported. Around three in every 1,000 people vaccinated were affected.

Almost all cases were mild, such as a sore arm or flu-like illness.

These after-effects are not the disease itself, but the body's response to the vaccine. They usually get better within a couple of days, says the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

Severe allergic reactions to the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine can happen but are very rare - between one and two cases per 100,000 doses administered, experts estimate. The MHRA received received 101 allergy-related reports.

Doctors already say people with a history of significant allergic reactions to ingredients in the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine should not receive it.

I think the main concern with many people is not the initial Vaccine [i hate the term Jab] but the posible long term affects, ie; Auto-immune response.

I gather the Pfizer vaccine has been withdrawn for use on older people in the UK. It seems to be more associated with adverse reactions than the other options.

A report from Norway is a bit alarming: https://www.express.co.uk/news/world...affic.outbrain

These were elderly people, but the incidence of problems was apparently rather high in proportion to the numbers vaccinated.

There's a fair bit of info out there about this, look it up.

yeah i heard about those.. They were not entirely sure it was an issue as the deathes were with extremely old and very frail people. The usual side effect of diarrhoea and fever may just have pushed them over edge. think they are only country so for too.

Other countries have also seen similar, mainly in elderly patients.
There have also been a few reported cases in the relatively young, with no underlying health issues too, how many others go un reported
With a 99.7% recovery rate from the virus, and thus a much stronger and affective immune response [and i suspect it will be similar for any new strain that gets detected] i can't for the life of me understand why folk who are otherwise healthy contemplate accepting any of them, but then i can't understand a lot of things where folk are concerned!
