These maps can be very helpful in suggesting which places you can't go to in the UK right now, which sadly is rather a lot of places.

I agree with Marco that there shouldn't be mandatory vaccinations, but there should be a decent presentation of what facts are available, and if things look good, then most people should be encouraged to have the jab. That's not the same thing as being anti-vax though, is it?

Exactly, Dave. You can be critical of something without being 'anti' it. There's a rather BIG difference! Or must all dissenting voices simply be silenced? Sounds rather like South Korea to me...

Plus, if the government and scientists concerned were a bit more honest/upfront and more willing to reassure the population that they were safe, backed up by convincing and credible evidence, then there would be much less suspicion and distrust surrounding the existence of these vaccines, and far less ammo for the rabid 'anti vaxxers' to use to further their agenda!

They simply can't just expect everyone to 'worry not and trust the experts', and obey the government like subservient robots, with something so *potentially* risky as this. I've never taken what I consider as unnecessary or dangerous risks with my health before (one of the reasons why I'm healthy now and haven't been near a doctor in YEARS), and don't intend changing that habit of a lifetime now - for ANY fucker!

"Don't worry, these largely untried and brand new vaccines are 90% effective and completely safe, trust us". Aye, that'll be fucking coco... Nah, you're ok. I'll trust the effectiveness of my immune system instead, and which has worked just fine for the last 55 years thanks, without needing 'chemically assisted'

I've actually read a lot of Boris' books.

He is an excellent writer on History. Churchill, London and all that.

His political output is slightly dull. I think he covered the EU for the Telegraph but it sent me into a slumber.

We must just watch with interest. The dismissal of Chancellor Sajid Javid surprised me. Is Rishi Sunak going to get the top job?
