True, but I just don't like it. Was made to eat it in the winter when I was a kid - it was just about palatable if it had a big dollop of jam put on it.

But then I dislike milk puddings as well.

Just not something I was brought up with. I get that it's good for you, though. For brekky, I'm either a 'continental' kinda guy, bread, butter and jam/croissants, fruit. yogurt, cold meats and cheeses, etc, or a full-on fry up. I don't really 'do' anything else

I really used to enjoy porridge, not had it for years though. Got mountains of other cereals, so not much point getting any. I loved it with golden syrup when I was a nipper.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

I like "Flahavans" porridge oats (https://www.flahavans.co.uk/product/...-organic-oats/) - I started having porridge in an attempt to reduce my cholesterol levels -tried various others and they were tasteless/gritty/horrible.

Most mornings I now have porridge with semi-skimmed milk, ghoji berries and crushed walnuts, very tasty and my cholesterol did stabilise/reduce very slightly. Surprised me how much I enjoy porridge as when I was a kid I always looked on it as a bit of a punishment.

Mythos is OK, but I much prefer Fix (Greek: Φιξ)

But my favourite Greek beer, brewed in Santorini, but available in Athenes and a few other places in Greece, is Crazy Donkey (Yellow label):

Avoid the Crazy Donkey - it's far too strong for hot weather, and it's only sold in large bottles.

No, I think the figure quoted would be for bare cornflakes, I don't think they could put speculation as to how you serve the cornflakes in print. Taking your theory to a silly degree they could quote ridiculously high vitamin C figures based on an assumption that a lot of folk put fruit on their cereal.
