Looks more orange to me, mate.... But that's often the case with computer screens. If it's red, then I like a deep (slightly darker than pillar box, verging on crimson) red, as does Del.

The colour of the 500 and Beetle I posted is perfect

And don't think you'll get Brownie points siding with Del to convince me to get her any of the above, as I know you're her 'secret agent'!

better mph and comfier but i agree, its not as cute or as much fun been looking for cars online myself as mine is due to be replaced in nov. which by car standards isnt long. bmw x1, volvo c40, another c-hr, are front runners along with suzuki, skoda, vw, seat etc all do suvs etc. the jeep's reliability would worry me as their owners were scathing lol. but i do like the look

Lol - still looks rather orange to me... But yes, we're in agreement (on all counts). It's her car though, so she has to like it. Reliability on this occasion isn't *the* most important thing, as it won't be used that much. As long as it's reasonable in that respect, that's fine.

She HAS to like the look of it though in the first place, as otherwise it's a total non-starter, so no point in having something ultra reliable she simply wouldn't entertain in a month of Sundays...

You'd probably just let her get the 500 though, as you're a big softy!

That Volvo C40 would be my choice, and its 0-60 (under 5 seconds!) sounds like fun. But I bet they will want silly money, which is a shame. Anyway, Volvo's rep for reliability has been slipping in recent times if Which? readers' experiences are anything to go by.

Still want one though
