Yup, all valid points, Sandro, especially in relation to the guinea pigs chosen for these things always being us 'oop norf' Typical Tories... However, let's see how it goes. It'll be interesting seeing what impact, if any, it has on new infections.
I'm hoping it'll be a success and we can start getting the arts and entertainment industries back on their feet. We're missing the cinema in particular. At the moment, in most parts of the country, things are looking good, with normality (thank goodness) slowly being resumed!
We were in Liverpool a couple of weeks ago and had a nice lunch al fresco at The Italian Club, in Bold St (it was a lovely sunny day). The menu and food was a little formulaic/run-of-the-mill, but decent enough, and just nice to get out and about again away from the same four walls.
We wanted to try Little Furnace, but it doesn't open until 5pm, and we prefer having lunch, so we'll save it for when we next go to a gig, and are there instead in the evening
Marco.
