I didn't say that the BBC was free of bias, just that it's 1,000 times more likely to be accurate than the Daily Mail, which mostly seems to obsess about which food causes/cures cancer (updated to COVID these days), 'wardrobe mishaps' and house prices. I probably didn't make my point very well. Saying that the BBC is a 1000 times more accurate than the Daily Mail is a meaningless comparison. The Daily Mail is not supposed to be accurate whereas the BBC is (even though it sometimes isn't). To take a literary comparison, it's like saying that Popular Mechanics Weekly is a 1000 times more accurate than Hamlet.

In your humble opinion. Others and I would vehemently disagree. The blatant twisting of truth and propaganda by the BBC in the above video with Trump is obvious, so how do you justify it?

Furthermore, if you read the comments under the video, you'll see the strength of feeling among people towards this outdated lying institution, no longer fit for purpose, which panders to the agenda of the establishment - and I can assure you that they're far from alone.

Also, unlike others, I don't have a mania about the Daily Mail. It's just another (valid or otherwise) source of information for me, nothing more. I find the 'hatred' levied against it by some, and how they get all 'het up' about the very mention of it, puzzling in the extreme and rather amusing!

It's just another newspaper, FFS, with its own agenda, the same as any other, which might simply be a better fit with your political bias (and so not be so offensive to your sensibilities), not enemy No1.

You're entitled to your views on Trump, some of which I agree with. I'm not a fan of him as a person either, but if his goal is to dismantle and eradicate the global elite/deep state, which I believe not only exists, but is a fundamental clear and present danger (to borrow a phrase from a well-known film) to society as we know it, due to how they're using this pandemic to further their nefarious ends, then ALL POWER TO HIM!

As for the Jew remark, do not bring up old arguments, which have no place here, in an attempt to score points. If you mention that again, you'll be banned, and this time for good. I have to say that since your return, I've been involved in more pointlessly circular arguments and niggling than I have for some time, so if your goal here is simply to irritate and generally be a nuisance, as it has in the past, then I can quickly bring it to an end.

So think very carefully how you contribute, not only to this discussion from now on, but to the forum as a whole, as I'm not interested in wasting time over folk who seem intent on being a continual source of annoyance.
