Indeed... Plus, you can pull out any number of videos, the contents of which simply support your point of view, but that doesn't make it fact.

A case in point being the one Gaz has just posted. How can not wearing a mask be the difference between 'life and death', for everyone, when statistics have clearly shown that the death rate for this virus [thankfully for the vast majority of people] is painfully low?

The fact is, a virus that has caused 46,000 deaths (although 46,000 too many) out of a population of 67 million (the UK), many which could've been saved had we known more about what we were dealing with before, and the knowledge of which now will stand us in good stead for if/when it hits us again, is NOT something that we should be allowing to CONTROL our lives - simples!!

Everyone is being unnecessarily brainwashed by fear, perpetrated daily by the mainstream media!

Tip: if you don't want that to happen, and choose instead to be better informed, and happier in the process, watch or listen to less mainstream news

But equally, you can post any number of videos rubbishing some of the latest medical advice, but that doesn’t necessarily make the advice bollocks, either.

Indeed not; it's about analysing as much information as possible, from various sources, and choosing what you want to believe - or which expert to hang your hat on!

The point is NOT to automatically believe anything, simply because on the surface it might make sense or appease your sensibilities, no matter WHO has endorsed it. You need to be FAR more critical (and also questioning/sceptical/non-trusting) than that, if you ever want to get to the real truth about anything!

Indeed, but that applies equally to the sources of information you consider contain facts, just the same as others or mine.

Furthermore, the point about expertise is that experts are also prone to bias and have personal agendas, and sometimes that bias/those agendas can skew the reliability of the information that they provide and put into the public domain!
