Its now a conspiracy theory to believe that the Immune system is capable of doing the job it was designed to do.

Not acording to Dr Sucharit Bhakdi, infact, many scientists are of the same mindset https://thehighwire.com/videos/the-b...ent-ever-done/ And yes, i have read the book, a must read for anyone who has even the slightest doubt about whats being asked of us.

Let's try and knock this into shape:

The very attractive Doctor Lee Merritt, because white shirt and black or dark blue jacket is a good look, is telling us that masks do nothing useful.

More strongly advises Vitamin D and Zinc and keeping the window open for fresh air.

Personally I have always slept with the windows open. My Arthur Mee's Children's Encyclopedia always advised that sleeping with the windows shut was "POSITIVELY UNHEALTHY".

I have had huge arguments with GFs over the years on this issue. But Arthur Mee is somebody I always listened to. I believe my sister still has his 10 volume books.

I am more dubious about Vitamin D, after recent experiments with foul Cod Liver Oil. But my sister is also keen on Zinc, of which deficiency causes white spots under your nails. Who knows?

When I was teaching, I was always getting colds. So several years ago I started having a Vitamin C and Zinc drink every morning.
It may be coincidence/psychosomatic, but I had far fewer colds once I started doing this.

I started having a vitamin D tablet every morning last winter, just to make up for lack of sunlight, but I haven't noticed any difference yet. I may well be getting enough vitamin D in my diet in winter anyway through my love of soft boiled eggs

What have we got to “knock into shape”?

We should believe the well dressed Government advisor that’s Whitty and looks like E.T.?
What do looks and dress have to do with believability?

Healthy diet always helps our immune systems, vitamin deficiency lowers our defences!
I find no references to open windows! Humidity and fresh air yes, common sense, not misquotes!

The rest of the above post seems drivel.

Arthur was only 67 when he died though, probably from pneumonia the daft bastard.

I tended to agree with the girlfriends over the years on this issue, because I wanted to get laid.
