    Interesting:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56227171

Figures from Public health Scotland seem to suggest that the Astra vaccine is more effective than the Phizer:
".....which found that four weeks after the first dose, hospital admissions were reduced by 85% and 94% for the Pfizer-BioNTech and AstraZeneca jabs respectively."

And despite trying to block borders and putting the Ireland peace process in jeopardy, the Germans have used fewer than 300,000 of the 1,170,000 Astra doses which they have received.

Big apologies from the German government seem to be due - don't hold your breath though.
LP12, Ittok (black), DV10X5, NVA Phono 2 (twin supply), NVAP50, Art Audio Quintet 15w power amp, NVA LS5 cable, Rega Ela mk1's.

I used to think that was a myth until we actually went on a proper foreign holiday to Majorca in 1982

You don't get many Germans in LLandudno. Not much use for sun loungers there either for that matter.

late 60's and into 70's germans in places like spain used to have a rota for 2 every day got up really early and had all their groups towels. went to beach or to poolside and took all the best deckchairs and situated them in the best places, putting towels over them etc, then went back for breakie etc.
You might think this is rubbish but it is true.. typical germans.. as they did with the Maginot Line; instead of doing the decent thing and taking their chances attacking it head on, they went round side... Devious nation
