I can only tell you what I know, though I was quite the Wiz on Chemistry at school.

Sea Salt is very different stuff from Rock Salt. It has Potassium, Iodine and Magnesium in it. Rock Salt, which is in most factory foods is just Sodium Chloride.

Your body has about 10 grams of magnesium floating about. Apparently reduces blood pressure. If you have a heart attack, the quickest intervention is to inject about 2 grams of Magnesium Sulphate. So it does something.

I doubt there are 6 types of magnesium. I just take me Andrew's Liver salts every couple of weeks. French Doctors believe in minerals far more than English ones.

Another weird one is Selenium. Exhausted European Soils are very deficient in it. Brazil Nuts are full of it.

not heard of that use in heart attack.. it can be used tho for people with heart conditions. the usual injection if there is one is either Papaverine or Amiodarone.
